Anyone can claim to be professional, reliable and experienced, so those words are worth very little on a website. What follows is more specific: the actual decisions we make differently, and what they cost us when we make them.

Most disappointing installations were decided before anyone drilled anything. A dish positioned without checking the obstruction arc, a cellular router specified from a coverage map, access points spaced by floor area rather than by measurement. We take the readings first, and the quote follows from what we found rather than from what is typical.
A lot of contractors treat anything past the city limits as an inconvenience. Most of our difficult work is out there: acreages, farms, camps and industrial sites where there is no wired service, no shelter for the mount, and often nobody on site to reboot anything. We design for that rather than adapting an urban approach to it.
Equipment rated to a nominal temperature and equipment that survives an Alberta February are different things. Mounts specified for ice loading as well as wind, cable that stays flexible in deep cold, exterior-grade seals with drip loops, and batteries chosen for cold performance. Nearly every winter failure we get called to fix was decided at installation time.
We will tell you a mesh kit is genuinely adequate for your house, that a configuration change fixes the software you already own, that your existing switches are worth keeping, or that an external antenna will not help because your signal is already strong. Advice that always concludes in a larger invoice is not advice.
Labelled patch panels, as-built drawings, port schedules, IP lists and credentials — given to you, or directly to your IT provider. You should be able to hand your site to any competent contractor without them having to rediscover it, and that includes handing it away from us.
Connectivity, the network it feeds, and the software running on it are usually three suppliers pointing at each other when something breaks. We cover all three, which removes the argument about whose problem it is.
If you need the cheapest possible installation and are comfortable with the risk, we are probably not it. We survey, we specify hardware for the conditions, and we do not skip grounding, firestopping or permits — all of which costs more than not doing them.
If you need a large managed IT department for day-to-day user support, that is a different kind of company. We are happy to work alongside one, and we hand over documentation designed for exactly that.
