Starlink Installation in Red Deer and Central Alberta

Red Deer sits roughly at the midpoint of the Edmonton–Calgary corridor — far enough that this is travel work rather than same-week routine, close enough that we cover it regularly rather than as an occasional trip. Travel is quoted transparently before we commit to anything, and where there are several jobs in the region we schedule them together to keep the per-site cost down.

Central Alberta's economy is agricultural and energy-services, and the work we do reflects that split. Grain and cattle operations spread across quarter-sections have no wired option and are exactly the case Starlink is built for, while oilfield service companies based in and around Red Deer's industrial parks need yard and shop connectivity for equipment and logistics, not a single residential dish.

The terrain is the flat, open transition from parkland to prairie, with comparatively little natural shelter — closer in character to the open country around Leduc than to the treed river-valley communities north of Edmonton. Obstruction is rarely the limiting factor here; sustained wind and winter ice loading are, so mounts get specified accordingly rather than to a suburban standard.
